Where In the World is Miss Judy?

As promised, Miss Judy has not gone far!

In fact, you can find her this fall right down the hall.  She’ll be co-facilitating the drop-off playgroup offered by Natick Recreation & Parks with Kim Marshall Condin!  Look for information about this special big-kid opportunity and registration materials in Natick Recreation & Park’s August mailing.  It is sent to EVERY household in Natick.  Playgroup is a great chance for children aged 2 years and 3 years to PreK to try out a supportive activity group all on their own once a week.

September 2010 at NECN

We’re pleased to announce that the Natick Early Childhood Network playroom will be open again on September 1!   It’s been very quiet down our hallway at the Cole Center during July and August.  We’ll be so happy to welcome our families back to play and learn with us.

Click here to read about our programs for September, and check the September calendar for Drop-In and Open Gym times.  Since we’re enrolling only 2 playgroups for September, lottery registration for those groups will be by phone only this time, and you can call any time from now through the end of the day on Wednesday, August 25.

On Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30am, we’ll host a special Drop-In time for you to meet our new Program Coordinator, “Miss Lindsey” Tarrant, with a circle time at 11am!  Lindsey is looking forward to getting to know all of our NECN families.

Please note that, because of the transition in NECN’s staff, our fall Connections newsletter will be posted in mid-September, including activities and programs for October through December.   Stay tuned, and if you have friends who aren’t reading our website regularly, please ask them to subscribe!   Thank you!

Summer Newsletter Online Now!

Although NECN will be closed for July and August, our Connections newsletter includes some ideas of things to do with your family this summer.

Please take a few moments to read a letter from one of our NECN moms entitled, “Why Our Family Supports Natick Early Childhood Network” and consider the ways in which your family can help too!

And be sure to check the long list of families, individuals and businesses that supported NECN in 2009/2010 . . . we couldn’t do what we do without all of these volunteers and supporters!

Have a great summer, and I’ll see you in the fall.

Pam
