Natick Family Network – Help by Donating Supplies and Prizes!

Here are two opportunities to help NFN with your donations this spring:

Donate raffle basket items: our Moms’ Night Out evening of socializing, shopping and prizes will be held on Saturday, May 2, and we’re putting together 5 themed baskets as part of the evening’s raffle.    We are looking for donations of new items related to the following themed baskets.  Be creative!

  • Kids’ Art Basket
  • Summer Picnic/Outdoor Play Basket
  • Mom’s Summer Book Bag
  • Breakfast in Bed Basket
  • Spa Basket

Wish List for NFN Office: your continued generosity of playroom supplies and equipment allows us to more effectively use our grant funds for programming and services for our NFN families!  We could use:

  • a vacuum cleaner for our rugs and floors (used or new)
  • a portable CD player/boombox (used or new)
  • Clorox cleaning wipes
  • snack supplies:  Goldfish, pretzel snaps, small 100% juice boxes, and small water bottles

Thank you for considering a donation!

Parent/Child Story Time Especially for English Language Learners

Co-Sponsored by Children First Natick, Morse Institute Library and Natick Family Network

Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10:30 am in the Children’s Story/Craft Room

If you are learning to speak English or you have a child who speaks a language other than English at home, children’s stories are a wonderful way to practice listening to and speaking English through rhyme, repetition and pictures.   “Tina the Reading Lady” presents this free program for families with children up to age 6, accompanied by an adult.  Grandparents are welcome too!

Registration is required to attend this program.  Please call the Children’s Department at the Morse Institute Library at 508-647-6522.
