Looking for Preschool or Child Care? Come to the Open House!

If you’re beginning to think about preschool or daycare for your child, or seeking to make a change in your child’s care, be sure to attend Natick Early Childhood Network’s 8th annual Early Education & Care Open House on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.   The Open House will be held in the gym at the Cole Center, 179 Boden Lane, Natick.  You can click on this flyer for all the details.

Advance registration is not required except for child care, which is offered on a limited basis in our playroom.  Call us at 508-655-2557 if you have questions, or need to register for child care!

Natick Early Childhood Network is the new name of the merged organizations Natick Family Network and Children First Natick.

Jeepers Creepers Playgroup for Pre-Walkers

The Jeepers Creepers playgroup still has room for children 6-12 months old with a grownup caregiver!  The playgroup, especially for pre-walkers, began on Tuesday, September 8, but there are still 7 sessions remaining (through Tuesday, October 27) and additional families are welcome!   The group runs from 10:45am to 12:15am.

Come explore the NFN playroom as your baby is growing more and more independent and interactive.  Enjoy parent chats, quiet observation and stimulating activities for your little one.  Bring a lunch from home (no peanut or nut products please!) and a stroller for autumn walks if you choose.  The playgroup is facilitated by “Miss Judy”, NFN Program Coordinator Judy Dixon.

New Moms Chat Beginning October 6

Calling new moms and your babies!  There’s still time register for our fall New Moms Chat, beginning on Tuesday, October 6, and running for 8 weekly sessions through November 24.

The chat, which runs from 12:30pm to 2pm, is a great opportunity to share with other new moms in discussions about the rewarding, but demanding, transition to motherhood.  The chat is facilitated by Maryann Cardani, LISCW, of Jewish Family Service of Metrowest.
