What can NECN do for you?

NECN strives to provide services that are relevant to you and your family! What better way to ensure that we are doing so, than to ask you what type programs will benefit your family? Please click here to complete a short survey about parent workshop topics, playgroups, and drop in activities.

NECN values your feedback and we will do our best to follow through on your suggestions.  However, please keep in mind that our program is grant funded which means the services we provide must fall into a set of objectives:

1. Provide opportunities for family education, literacy, and engagement.

2. Provide services that support families during times of transition.

3. Provide access to quality information about early education and care.

Activities that fall outside of these objectives are possible with money that has been raised independently.

If you have questions please call the office for more information 508-655-2557.

Playgroup Opportunities

Beginning in October, Natick Early Childhood Network, in collaboration with the Morse Institute Library, will once again be offering Saturday morning playgroups twice a month at the library!  Both groups will again be facilitated by Judith A. Dixon, M.Ed., also known as “Miss Judy”!

Click here for a flyer, and call us at 508-655-2557 for more details or to register for these Saturday morning groups.

All playgroups are FREE, and are for Natick families.  We can accommodate out-of-town families on a space-available basis; call to inquire.

The Me & My Dad Playgroup will be offered once per month, and is for children birth – preK with their dad or male caregiver.

The Tots & Tales Playgroup will also be once per month, and is for 2- to 6-year-olds with a grownup caregiver.  This group will focus on sharing books with young children, and each family will be given a book to take home after the playgroup!

NECN at Natick Days!

Natick Days is coming to the Common again this year Saturday, September 10th from 11a-4p! Natick Early Childhood Network will be hosting a table with information for new families and games and crafts for children. We are very excited to be a part of Natick Days again this year as it enables us to reach new Natick families and connect with other community organizations. I hope your families will attend and see all that Natick has to offer!

NECN will need your help at Natick Days to distribute information and help children with the bean bag toss and craft.  The event is from 11-4p and we hope to have adults help in 1.5 hr shifts. If you are available and willing to offer some time to our table, please contact Lindsey or Pam at 508-655-2557.
